*Admission may required to access the Harness Racing events when there is a ticketed event happening in Exhibition Park at the same time and date of harness racing.
Getting to the Track
Come see the best of Manitoba’s standardbred horses at The LOOP; the new racetrack and venue at Exhibition Park. Getting to The LOOP is easy! Make your way to Portage Avenue west, turn north onto Festival Drive, proceed past the round-about, and you’ll see the parking lot and race track!

About Harness Racing
After disappearing in Manitoba for 30 years, live harness racing began calling Winnipeg home once again in 2023! Harness racing is a form of horse racing in which the horses race at a specific gait (a trot or pace). They pull a two-wheeled cart called a sulky.
